ENERGY AND THUMB SAVING APPLE PEELER

At first glance this new peeler seems cruel, but 20 minutes later (and a band aid), it peeled, cored and sliced an apple in just ten turns ! It's a tool used years ago but I ordered it recently from Cabela's cause some days my thumbs and hands hurt. I try to eat an apple everyday because it really helps my digestion but I get lazy preparing it ahead of time for work. This is so cool and an energy saver. Some of the old things are really the best!

GLUTEN FREE MAC AND CHEESE

Not the prettiest picture but sure wish we had smellavision! I have been craving comfort food but it is so expensive gluten free and I don't always have time to cook. I just made gf mac and cheese and it's perfect. I used a recipe off a cheese package and altered it to fit. Mama's happy. Now I can make a larger version tomorrow and freeze it in smaller portions for those busy nights during the week.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! So, if you start the new year with a very short hair cut (after an outdated long do) and a new fragrance called Japanese Cherry Blossom- does that make you feel younger? ABSOLUTELY!!! Love my new locks and feel lighter with the blossoms, too.

The only resolution I have for this year is to blog more. I don't think many people read this blog, but I have fun contributing. But , instead I get wrapped up in my busy life. I usually do not make resolutions, but this year feels different and we're only 17 hours into it!

Does everyone else feel the same? What is different about this year and the feeling it brings? Have you made any resolutions and broken any already?

Best wishes to all. mary
