A FEW THOUGHTS

Do you ever feel alone when you're with someone? It' such a surreal feeling. The other person is sitting there but not really acknowledging you.

Why do we seniors sometimes feel the need to apologize for being old? We're just not cool anymore? Acceptable? Annoying? No, we are finally being ourselves- no fear of what to say, how to dress, when to sleep, maybe not have a conventional supper......  Okay, we aren't out to hurt anyone- we're are finally free with our expressions. How liberating.

Has anyone else over 20 been to an Apple Store? Oh my goodness, what a fun place! I bought my first iphone and went to sign up for a free class. The young attendants were so kind, helpful, pleasant and very happy in their place of employment ..... Not like going to any other store. They really want to serve you-what a concept. Can't wait to go back. And, besides-there are so many "toys" to choose from.

If you haven't heard of this magazine or website, Taste of Home, it's a great concept.  Recipes from subscribers. Many have turned out to be pretty good.
